User settings

When you are logged in as an authenticated Instabase user, click your profile picture in the top bar to update your pofile and change your security settings.

Update profile

See your username and email address, and update your display name and password.

To update your display name, hover over the row and click the edit icon. Input your new display name and click Save.

To update your password, hover over the row with your redacted password and click change. Input your current password and your new password, and click Save. You will be logged out and prompted to log in again.

Change security

Configure two-factor authentication using SMS (if a communication service such as Twilio is available to send text messages) and Time-based One-time Password (TOTP).

• None - Default. Do not use two-factor authentication.

• SMS - Send a text to your phone with a code each time you log in.

• Authenticator (TOTP) - Use an app to generate a code each time you log in. Download a 2FA app, such as Authy, Duo Mobile, or Google Authenticator, and scan the QR code or enter the code that is displayed.
